I recently started playing Stardew Valley with a friend of mine and something about that game makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. When I Play with my friend let’s call him Elijah (cause that’s his name) There is this strange sense of competition that I don’t get from the game otherwise. I’m not saying I hate it, It’s just a different experience and there are still moments of calm and relaxation that I know the game for but something about having another person fishing right next to me makes me want to catch a bigger fish.

But We have sort of have found a groove almost like an old married couple I will go out and fish and cook up meals while He is off killing monsters and mining. I personally (despite some of the flaws with its multiplayer) think Stardew Valley is possibly the best multiplayer game on the market. Sure you share the gold and that can be a pain but you also share every little success whether its getting that gold star fish or finding the perfect farming strategy everything I Would get all excited about in a normal play through I know get to share with a friend of mine.

Anyway I gotta get back to trying to get Abigail to fall in love with me…
